Through excellent delivery and service across all aspects of our team we have been experiencing recent growth across the company. We're looking for a maintenance carpenter/builder to join our commercial building maintenance team in Auckland. The role would suit an experienced carpenter / builder who is looking for variety and flexibility outside of their current position. The position would be working alongside our Project Managers and would involve all aspects of the job from scoping through to assistance in pricing and supervision on sub trades on certain jobs. We perform a wide variety of jobs for commercial building owners and their tenants throughout Auckland. This role involves general building maintenance including carpentry and building work on projects of short duration (generally 1 day to 1 week in length). We're looking for an extremely practical person who has an aptitude toward strong problem solving skills in a hands-on environment. It's also a customer-facing role so we are looking for team members who can build strong relationships with our clients, work within a close team environment, and readily assist colleagues. Ideal applicants will have: At least 10 years experience and proven ability with Carpentry/Building Maintenance (an LBP would be a plus). An excellent focus on Health and Safety. A "can do" attitude and a real team player. Very presentable/clean cut, with a strong customer service focus and a good sense of humor. This position offers regular working hours and a real diversity of work with a successful company that promotes a strong team environment. Work hours are flexible but would approximate 7:30am-4:30pm, 5 days per week. Uniform, vehicle, mobile phone, and petrol card supplied. Tool allowance. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
