Full time We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Territory Manager, or as we like to call ourselves, Ambassador of Taste, to join our team and sell our high-quality food and beverage products into supermarkets, liquor stores, and distributors.
You will be responsible for the development of the Auckland area, specifically the west and north.
Reporting to the National Key Account Manager, you'll be working as part of a passionate and successful team driving product adoption & revenue results.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete a call cycle to achieve continued growth and success for Prodotti Develop and maintain relationships with supermarket buyers and decision-makers Present and sell our products to potential customers across all departments (Delicatessen, Chilled & Frozen, Grocery Food, Liquor) Achieve sales targets and goals Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth Provide excellent customer service and support Recognise and advise where Prodotti can increase market share Provide regular reports and updates to the National Key Account Manager on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends via the CRM platform HubSpot Attend relevant trade shows and events to build brand awareness and identify new business opportunities THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Your background is likely in sales and/or the FMCG industry - but we want to meet you if you are a sales superstar regardless of the path you took to become one.
Ideally, you will be passionate about food and eager to expand your knowledge about imported food and beverages.
Previous Sales Rep experience working with either Supermarkets / Food Industry / Food Service or from a Service Delicatessen Management background Track record of achieving targets Engaging and exceptional communication skills – you're an expert when it comes to building relationships and product knowledge You will have high levels of energy and enthusiasm and be commercially savvy, people focused and determined to succeed You will have excellent time management skills and be self-motivated and driven Competence with Microsoft office software Familiarity with Zoho CRM software Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
