About the Role:
As a Complex Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care that empowers our clients to live as independently as possible. You will work closely with clients to develop and implement tailored care plans that address their unique needs, fostering their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and identify clients' needs and challenges Implement personalized care plans Monitor client progress and report findings promptly Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and hygiene Support toileting and bowel management Help clients with mobility and the use of daily living equipment Prompt and assist clients with medication management Encourage clients to maintain their independence Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with the care team Build strong relationships with clients and their families Facilitate effective communication for clients with varying needs Assist with client's mobility and community access What We're Looking For: A passion for enabling clients to lead fulfilling lives Minimum of 6 months professional experience in complex care Level 4 Healthcare qualification or equivalent preferred Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and punctual Culturally aware and sensitive to diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English Valid NZ driver's license and willingness to travel across the Bay of Plenty Experience with bowel care and willingness to assist with physiotherapy exercises Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends What We Offer: Permanent full-time role with guaranteed hours (30 hours weekly) Competitive pay at $28.25 per hour, plus travel time and kilometers Supportive and friendly team environment Flexibility and variety in your role Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Comprehensive orientation program Make a Difference in Your Community
