Nau mai haere mai ki ta matou whanau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family As our Surfacing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Divisional and Department Managers with a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Reviewing and assisting survey levels on siteScoping forward works and resourcing in conjunction with the SupervisorOverviewing QA and assisting as neededAssisting with the pricing of work and tender preparationOrganising and forward ordering of subbies, materials, plant, and peopleEnsuring all work is brought to chargeMeasuring works in progressIn addition to the above you will: Ensure appropriate QA records are kept allowing the effective management of contractsEnsure jobs are carried out to job specifications, company policies, and relevant legislation, codes, and regulationsEnsure contracts are completed to consultant standards, within time and budgetGood Work equals Good Benefits A company vehicle will be provided with this positionMedical insurance for you and your whanauLife insurance from day oneKiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestones up to 7%Fuel discount cardParental leave top-up payment with additional return to work supportFamily scholarshipsOngoing training and development, career growth, and progression opportunitiesGreat discounts at a wide range of retailersAt Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us.
We're looking for someone with: Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering1 to 3 Years relevant surfacing experienceUnderstanding of job pricing including materials, labour, and plant and their associated margins/profit calculationsAware of NZTA specificationsCreating, Connecting and Caring for the Community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills, and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
