In this role, you will work across multiple projects.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and specialist worker for a role in our manufacturing team, to provide engineering services in the manufacture of new machinery and other equipment. You will contribute to the design and manufacturing process; you will have the ability to interpret drawings and 'think outside the box' to resolve issues. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, where the team will value your input in the development and design of new equipment, with a strong focus on quality.Tasks and responsibilitiesProvide fabrication services as required, working from drawingsProgress the fabrication of welded components in a timely mannerProvide feedback on work in progress ideas and suggestionsProvide machining services utilising workshop equipmentContribute to the development of equipmentProvide support to the Apprentice training & development programActively promote and support health and safety in the workplaceSkills and experienceIdeally 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environmentCompetent in MIG and some TIGManufacture of precision components - accuracy is the key in this roleAbility to read drawings and interpret the sub-components to the main buildAn appreciation of manufacturing processes and procedures, ideally with experience in the timber pre-fabrication building and construction industryTroubleshooting and problem-solving skills with an innovative, positive attitudeAbility to manage time and work to deadlinesGreat communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail, striving for qualityAbility to operate in a team or individuallyIf this sounds like you, please apply including a cover letter with your application outlining your training and experience.RewardedWe appreciate each and every one of our team.
