Retail Consultant – Join Our Dynamic Team at KAYU Studio KAYU Studio, a design-led, curated furniture and homewares destination, is seeking a dedicated Retail Consultant to join our Mount Maunganui showroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing company and contribute to its continued success in one of New Zealand's most beautiful coastal locations.
Are you passionate about design, homewares, and customer service? We're seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and ready to create exceptional shopping experiences for our customers. This position is for a Part-time role; all applicants for this position must have the availability to work weekends.
What You'll Be Doing:  •   Providing expert sales consulting on the showroom floor, helping customers find the perfect pieces for their homes.
 •   Ensuring the store is beautifully presented, organised, and fully stocked before opening.
 •   Accurately tagging products with prices and arranging them aesthetically throughout the store.
 •   Monitoring inventory levels, reporting low stock, and assisting with regular stock takes.
 •   Packing and processing small online orders for delivery.
 •   Offering exceptional customer service support, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues.
 •   Assisting with cash register balancing at the beginning and end of shifts and accurately handling transactions.
 •   Adhering to store policies and procedures, including dress code and punctuality.
 •   Maintaining a tidy and organised store environment at closing, ready for the next day.
What You'll Need:  •   A passion for design and a keen eye for detail.
 •   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 •   A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
 •   Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
 •   Availability to work weekends.
