Are you a seasoned professional with a robust technical background in Microsoft Technologies? We're looking for a Development Manager to lead the team driving the next version of our flagship product (RMS), Ostro. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a major technology shift within our organisation, shaping the future of our platform and steering innovation across the development process.
What You'll Do:
Technical Leadership: Share best practices, provide technical direction, and create opportunities for knowledge exchange, ensuring consistency and excellence across the team.
Technical Guidance: Provide hands-on support to the team in overcoming technical challenges related to C#, Transact SQL, and solving complex coding challenges.
Technical Oversight: Drive the continuous improvement of our development methodologies, ensuring our solutions are efficient, fit-for-purpose, and delivered to the highest quality.
Collaboration & Impact: Work closely with the Head of the Platform to set key performance indicators, monitor delivery processes, and ensure we stay ahead in an ever-evolving tech landscape.
Drive Quality & Productivity: Implement a consistent quality strategy for software development, enhancing collaboration between developers and test analysts to ensure top-notch delivery.
Resource Management: Oversee the development team's resource utilisation, professional development, and skill growth across squads.
Lead & Inspire: Build and nurture high-performing development teams, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
What You Bring:
A strong technical background with Microsoft stack, commercial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategy and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
A deep understanding of software development practices and emerging technologies.
Proven experience in leading and coaching software development teams.
