Production Manager / Integrated Content ProducerLetterboxd is a global social network for grass-roots film discussion and discovery. Founded in Auckland, New Zealand, the team at HQ is looking for an integrated content producer to join its crew of self-described film nerds.About the Role30-40 hours per week, Tuesday — Saturday (NZ), with a 6:00 AM start timeRemote-friendly from anywhere in New ZealandAs the Production Manager at Letterboxd, you’ll be instrumental in managing the end-to-end production of our content across editorial, video, podcast, and social media platforms. Working closely with the Editor in Chief and department heads, you’ll develop and refine systems to ensure efficient project management across multiple time zones. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the editorial production pipeline, assisting in managing budgets, and implementing workflow improvements to enhance productivity and quality. If you have a passion for film and a proven track record in content production, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Letterboxd’s editorial offerings.Key Responsibilities:Work with the Editor in Chief and heads of departments to plan, assign, budget and schedule the production of Letterboxd content.Create and manage workflow systems to support heads of departments in the production of multiple projects across editorial, video, podcast and social simultaneously, from conception to completion, across multiple time zones.Allocate resources effectively across projects, optimizing for efficiency and quality.Oversee the day-to-day editorial production pipeline, ensuring content is delivered on time and within budget, and maintaining quality standards.Manage logistics for shoots, events, and special projects, including budgets, travel, accommodation, and scheduling.Maintain and update production equipment, software subscriptions, and other production tools.Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports.Ideal Experience:Proven experience (5+ years) in production management and/or project management in the media and entertainment field e.g. digital, film/tv, advertising, experiential, live event production.Experience with digital and video publishing and editing tools and content management systems.A qualification in screen production, arts administration or related field is helpful.Experience working with US media partners or on productions involving US crew and locations is a plus.Skills:Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Doc, Sheets, etc) and budget management.Experience with Notion or similar project management tools.Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, global, dynamic online environment.Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, make decisions, and manage multiple deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.Rich knowledge of the screen industry and film craft.An understanding of publishing and production-related legal guidelines.
