The Opportunity:

Exciting opportunity available to grow and develop our team of Warehouse Team Members and our Warehouses in Christchurch. This is a busy role and would suit someone with a "no job is too big or too small" attitude and experience working in a fast-moving warehouse.

About the Role:

  • Full oversight of the Warehouse from devanning of inwards goods through to delivery to the customer
  • Container Management
  • MPI Management and compliance
  • Stock take and Stock Management
  • Managing freight partners
  • Daily management of damages, stock losses, investigations, claims, prevention
  • People management and development
  • Control accuracy in stock control /picking/pack/invoicing
  • Invoicing to maximum potential through Delivery channels and also Customer pickups
  • Growing and maximizing our delivery channel
  • Maintaining vehicle fleet, forklifts, and hired equipment
  • Build a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Hitting daily/Weekly/Monthly targets - business KPI's
  • Focus on continuous improvement
  • 45 to 50 hours per week (weekend work may be required)

About You:

  • Hands-on but also ability to stand back and make sure all aspects are operating at 100%
  • Chain of Responsibility knowledge
  • Good attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
  • Commitment to H&S, zero-tolerance approach
  • Good communication, written and verbal skills
  • Computer literate and skilled
  • Adherence to all business policies and procedures
  • A strong advocate for change/improvement
  • Eligible to work in NZ on a full-time basis
  • Valid forklift license
