The Higgins Christchurch Team have a unique opportunity for a Department Manager to join their leadership Team. We are seeking a candidate with strong commercial acumen that can develop and execute a strategic plan to expand and enhance our traffic department. With industry changes being implemented to reflect a more risk-based approach in the traffic industry, it is an excellent time to join the Higgins team and take the helm of the traffic department to shape it for success.There is huge potential for growth in this role; we have guaranteed work in the region across a variety of projects including Christchurch City Council Southern Maintenance Contract and local NZTA projects. The work will continue to grow as Higgins increase their footprint across the South Island.Experience in the traffic management industry is not essential to be successful in this role; we can provide you with training and development to build your knowledge and capability in this space. There will also be operational support available to manage the day-to-day operations.
