We're committed to addressing technical debt, and you'll play a pivotal role in driving this transformation.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Solutions Architect, you will design cutting-edge, digitally enabled solutions for data gathering and analysis systems, cloud infrastructure, and back-office applications. You'll collaborate closely with business subject matter experts, project managers, business analysts, internal technical teams, and vendors to lead the successful delivery of innovative business outcomes.Make a real impact on your community while expanding your skills and expertise through our diverse and challenging initiatives in a dynamic, rewarding environment.Position DetailsThis is a permanent position based in our Central Christchurch office, 40 hours per week.Minimum RequirementsAs a Solutions Architect, ideally, you'll be tertiary qualified with an emphasis on Computer Science or Computer Engineering, along with a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership role designing and implementing business software solutions.You'll have the ability to understand technologies and love continuously learning latest trends and technologies as you work with the Enterprise Architect to seek and improve business processes with software, services, or hardware.To enjoy this role, you'll have:A track record in solution architecture with expertise in designing and delivering complex IT solutions using out-of-the-box componentsStrong technical knowledge across various technologies, including cloud platforms and integration patternsThe ability to develop strategic roadmaps, manage stakeholder relationships, and provide innovative solutionsExcellent communication skills that can clearly impart ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesAdaptability, with experience in leading and mentoring initiativesRelevant certifications and experience in a similar environment will be advantageousOur CommitmentEmbrace the future of IT with our dynamic Digital Solutions team where you are not coming to build widgets but to work on career-defining legacy projects that support the community outcomes for the environment.We can't wait to see how you'll contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences.
