Job DescriptionWe are looking to expand our team in Timaru and have a vacancy for an experienced Engineer Surveyor with experience in Pressure Equipment and/or Crane Inspections.In this role you will be able to develop your mechanical engineering skills to carry out hands on statutory inspections and help clients in ensuring they comply with relevant legislation.Key Responsibilities:Inspection of boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.Inspection of Cranes in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.Welding inspection in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.This will involve inspection at client sites across Invercargill and wider Southland area.Identify and assist in developing and securing new business opportunities.Provide training and mentoring to trainees when qualified to do so.QualificationsBachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.Certification Board for Inspection Personnel (CBIP) Qualifications in a relevant disciplineExperience in inspection of boilers, pressure vessels and/or cranesEstablishes and maintains effective relationship with customers and gains their trust and respect.Strong time management skills with ability to manage your own diary and interact with clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA full and current New Zealand driver license.
