The sales consultant's role isn't just about putting sales through the till – you'll need to lead customers through their journey of exploration, conceptualisation, and decision-making. It's an end-to-end sales role that includes sharing design ideas and product knowledge, producing quotes, confirming orders, and then placing orders with suppliers and following up on fulfilment.First and foremost, we're looking for drive and common sense. Sales experience, design flair, and bathroom trend knowledge is preferred; however, we are looking for someone that can build long-lasting customer relationships and can show genuine customer care, attention to detail, and pragmatism.Responsibilities:Welcoming customers in the showroom, quickly getting a handle on what their needs and wants are, and steering them in the right directionSelling bathroom, laundry, and kitchen productsReviewing customer floor plans and advising suitable product optionsProducing quotes and receiving ordersManaging the entire sales process from concepts through to pricing, order, and fulfilmentApproaching and signing up potential new customersThe ideal candidate will be…A people-person with a natural drive to help customers and get on well with colleaguesGrounded with solid common sense and ready to take the initiativeEnthusiastic, honest, and eager to learnAble to handle competing priorities at paceComputer literate, with an emphasis on detail and accuracyExcellent written, verbal, listening, and communication skillsExperience in the bathroom industry is an advantage, but full training will be provided
