The Role Reporting to the IT Manager, your key responsibilities include:
Monitor IT systems and infrastructure performance, ensure pro-active resolution of problems and that security is not compromised.Provide technical assistance and support for requests.Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.Install and maintain software including operating systems using Microsoft InTune and SCCM.Monitoring and maintain networks (LAN, SD-WAN, WLAN) and security appliances (Firewalls, IPS, Netscaler etc).Ensure cyber security solutions and tools are kept up to date.Respond to and investigate identified security issues.Day to day administration of the ERP .Pro-active monitoring and addressing of vulnerabilities.Implementing best practices for system security and data backups.Identify potential opportunities for enhancements play a key a part in various system improvement projects.Participate in the on-call IT support rotation.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Engineer in a Windows and Microsoft-centric environment.Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and related services.Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 administration.Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).Scripting skills with PowerShell for automation and system management.Familiarity with network protocols, security, and firewall configuration.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperince working with factory system applications supporting Unix systems Apply Today Please send your resume in Microsoft Word format by clicking on the apply button or for further information, contact Stanley Onacha or Hannah Maplethorpe in our Auckland office on ******** .
