Job description - Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise café front of house staff
Monitor budgets to ensure that the café remains profitable.
Setting menu prices in alignment with the cafe budget
Listen to customer preferences and make suggestions for menu items
Preparing weekly work schedules for staff
Ensuring that all café expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs.
Taking inventory of café supplies and ordering new stock as needed.
Receiving delivered café supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.
Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and customer service.
Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback.
Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers.
Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
Planning menus in conjunction with Chefs
Take reservations and greet guests
Should be available to work in split shifts.
Experience required:
Must have experience as an assistant manager or above in a café or restaurant
A relevant diploma or above in business, management or hospitality management

Employment is permanent and is for a minimum of 30hrs a week
Rostered work will be between these hours: 5am to 3pm Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
Pay rate $30 to $32 per hour depending on experience
