Sensient Technologies New Zealand, is a fast growing business unit within the Sensient Flavours & Colours, Asia-Pacific Group. We provide quality food ingredients to our customers on a world-wide basis, and are highly successful through our attention to customer service, creative technological innovation and product quality. We currently seek a Controller to join our team at our Mt Wellington, Auckland facility.You will direct the accounting, financial reporting, and business planning for the business unit. This position is also responsible for ensuring exceptional service is provided to both internal and external customers.

**What you will do**:

- Provide primary financial support as Controller for the business unit.
- Understand and ensure compliance with the Corporate accounting practices and policies.
- Serve as a key member of the business unit management team. Provide effective analysis to support decision-making.
- Direct the preparation of the annual BU business plan and budget.
- Manage and direct the relevant finance/accounting staff and other staff within the Business Unit as assigned.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or four (4) year equivalent in Accounting; must be a certified Public Accountant
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as proven Controller or Finance Manager, preferably in MNC and manufacturing setup.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- A passion for details and ability to explain
- Advanced background in Accounting computer systems
