Graphic Designer

Harcourts Hawke’s Bay is seeking an experienced **Digital Graphic Designer** to join their corporate marketing team. If you’re an experienced designer who is looking for your next level, then this is the in-house role that you’ve been looking for.

As a member of the corporate team, you will be situated in their Hastings Head Office where you will contribute a key role to executing the vision of the company and how it presents itself in the marketplace.

In addition, you will work on an individual basis with members of their professional and dynamic real estate team, based throughout Hawke’s Bay. You will have the opportunity to guide their marketing and help them achieve their own marketing goals, within the greater context of the well-known Harcourts brand.
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**_You should have a solid grasp of:_**
- Effective Graphic Design (as demonstrated by your portfolio)
- Copywriting for social media and corporate materials
- Design and preparation for printed materials (colour modes, bleed, etc)
- Preparation of files for social media and web usage (producing artwork to predetermined specifications and file sizes)
- Mac and Windows Operating Systems

**Finally, any of the following would be advantageous but not essential **(Harcourts are willing to support the right applicant to train in any of these areas)
- A keen ‘eye’ for photography and videography
- Video editing abilities in either Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Understanding of video formats
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects to produce animated content for social media
- Abilities to self-learn and easily understand advanced software systems (i.e. online CMS and CRM platforms)
- A technical mindset and can troubleshoot problems when they arise (for yourself, and for the team around you)
