Machine Operator

This role will be a minimum of 30 - 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $29 - $30 per hour.

Reporting directly to the Orchard Manager you will be responsible for:

- Operating machinery in a safe and professional manner
- Abiding by all safe operating procedures
- Performing pre-start and maintenance checks daily and when required
- Enforcing safety procedures within the team
- Completing H&S documentation where required
- Mowing, mulching and spraying
- Maintaining equipment, machinery and the yard to endure they’re in a clean and orderly state
- Safely utilise all orchard machinery
- Attend safety meetings and training classes as scheduled

To be considered for this role you must:

- Have reliable transport or be planning to relocate before starting the role
- At least 6 months of experience working with machinery whether employed in a similar role or proven farm experience on your own farm.
- Able to work across all three regions for work with a week's notice.
