Currently hiring a skilled Legal Personal Assistant to join the team in Christchurch. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive support to the Dispute Resolution team, ensuring the seamless operation of legal processes and maintaining high standards of client service.

**About the Role**:
As a key player, you'll coordinate team workflows, ensure timely completion of digital dictations, draft complex legal documents, and handle billing with precision. Your proactive administrative approach will boost efficiency, quality, and customer service.

You'll also support team meetings, maintain calendars, and manage files in line with firm policies. Leveraging advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and OneLaw, you'll enhance the overall effectiveness of our legal operations.

Your commitment to ongoing professional development, along with strong organisational and communication skills, will be crucial for success in this dynamic role.

Your day to day responsibilities will include but is not limited to;
- Assist in managing the workflow of the Dispute Resolution practice.
- Complete digital dictations, draft complex legal documents, and handle billing and invoicing.
- Proactively manage administration processes for efficiency, quality, and customer service.
- Coordinate team meetings, take minutes, and maintain author calendars.
- Manage file openings, closures, and updates according to firm policies.
- Support AML processes and assist with scanning and filing of deeds.
- Efficiently use OneLaw for Transaction Request payments, Trust Account statements, and document management.
- Attend relevant professional courses to stay updated on administration best practices.

**Experience & Skills Required**:

- Previous legal industry experience; Dispute Resolution knowledge advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite; familiarity with OneLaw preferred.
- Understanding of the Court process is ideal.
