Working alongside the Infrastructure, Cloud and Network Lead we need a person who can hit the ground running to help us create and deliver as a priority the:

- Cloud Architecture Roadmap
- Cloud Migration from on prem
- Cloud Consolidation roadmap

The role will collaborate across the TWG group, our partners and Microsoft to ensure architectural designs and proposals include technical solutions that accurately address the group needs.

We are looking for someone who has experience in
- How to leverage on Cloud environment and service-oriented architecture principles to define and own Cloud based Solution Architecture
- Owning the creation of a well-informed Cloud strategy and lead the adaption process at an Enterprise level
- Ensuring that cloud architecture solutions are aligned to the strategic intent of the organisation
- Working with stakeholders to design appropriate and future proof solutions that fully integrates with existing cloud infrastructure from data flow, security, DevOps, and other standpoints
- Broad knowledge of system development methodologies, technology, IT systems, and enterprise software as applied to large enterprise IT environments
- To facilitate Joint Application Design sessions and contribute to requirements gathering and validation with regard to Cloud architectural requirements
- Ability to interpret business capabilities & requirements, map suitable IT capabilities and solution architectures to meet those requirements, and perform impact analysis of new and proposed architectures in relation to the current TWG Enterprise Architecture and technology landscape
- Solid understanding of high level architectural styles, architecture patterns and solution designs for meeting end to end enterprise solutions, ideally including TOGAF, Zachman or other recognised methodologies and frameworks

- Technical Skills & Experience_

We need someone who has proven experience in
- Azure managed and unmanaged services
- Azure networking and security
- Multi cloud interoperability
- On prem to Cloud migration

We would also value your experience in the following areas:

- Previous experience in developing multichannel architecture, design and implementation patterns in the retail environment across multiple vendor platform - including critical non-functional requirements i.e. scalability, security, performance, availability, reliability
- Solid working understanding of SOA principles, standards and design patterns with experience in SOA architecture & integration
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile Architecture and Agile development environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automation approaches in addition to tools and languages frequently used in our environment such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Elastic, Kafka, Azure APIM, Java,.Net, Node.JS would be advantageous
