This role will be based in Canterbury as a part of Civil, Lines and Jointing Field Team. It will involve working with 400v (live) to 33kV plastic cables & 400V (live) to 11KV paper cables and requires experience in distribution and supply. Reporting the the Field Team Supervisor, this role is part of a close-knit, high-performing team that places a high emphasis on safety. Rates/Hours of Work:

- Base hourly rates from: $32.46 - $40.03 plus allowances and overtime
- Minimum of 40 hours per week

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

- Cable Jointer:

- Qualifications must be approved by the Electrical Workers Registration Board as meeting the requirements of a New Zealand qualified Cable Jointer (Level 4 NZ Certificate in Electricity Supply (Cable Jointer High Voltage)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in jointing and terminating of 400V plastic insulated cables, live 400V plastic insulated cables, laying cables and 400V lead sheath cables is required. Experience reading and interpreting utility plans and experience in the electrical industry and related regulations is also required.

**Pre-Employment Tests |Medical & Ministry of Justice**Connetics require all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check, a Pre-Employment medical test which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
