**CNC Wood** Machinist** **Wanted

SFK Limited is currently looking for 1 motivated and dependable individual for a permanent full time **CNC Wood Machinist **position to work in the **Canterbury Region**, with minimum **30 hours per** week, from **Monday to Saturday**.

Working in this role would provide the successful applicant with numerous opportunities for career advancement.

On a daily basis, the successful applicant will be working alongside our team on various construction sites. Tasks include:

- Set up and operate machines and maintenance, including press brake machine, plate shears machine, CNC working center, bending machine, steel plate machine and sheet shears machine etc.
- Study drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications
- Determine tooling and machine requirements and sequence of operations
- Set up woodworking machines and wood stock for correct cutting, planning, turning, shaping and sanding
- Operate machines to cut, plane, turn, shape and sand work pieces
- Carry out general machine maintenance
- Other relevant job duties notified by the employer

We offer an hourly rate of : $29.66 - $30 depending on your skills and experience.

You should have at least three years relevant experience or a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
