We are looking for an experienced **Chiller Technician **to join our Tauranga team.
**What you will do**:
- A ttending to system breakdown calls and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment issues with Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning products and assist in providing strategic plan for resolution.
- Maintenance, retrofit and repair of York Chillers, utilising knowledge of HVAC theory, pipe fitting, mechanical layouts and control systems to deliver a holistic approach to customer plant.
- Carry out overhaul and fault finding of services varying reciprocating, screw, centrifugal and etc.
**How you will do it**:
- Providing front-line delivery of Johnson Controls services to customers.
- Thorough understanding of systems software to write or recommend modifications to programs as needed.
- Understand the requirements of the service contract or as directed by the SOM, Team Leader or Branch Manager.
- Meeting with customers regularly to discuss plant performance, identification of issues and solutions to improve plant performance (overall plant, not just Controls).
- Positive attitude, loyalty and enthusiasm towards the Company objectives.
**Who are we looking for?**
- Minimum 2-6 years of experience as a technician within related products.
- Possess Certification/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or
relevant to.
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting within related fields of HVAC (Heat Ventilation Air Con).
- Ability to read schematics and write up reports.
- Strong communication skills within local language (reading, writing, and conversational).
- Able to travel if need.
- Degree or equivalent from a Technical / Trade School or BAS (Building Automation System).
- Experience in working in mechanical or electrical works within HVAC industry.
- certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and five (5) years related experience; or seven (7) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
