Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner that is dedicated, well-organized with great verbal and written communication skills to work for their medical centre located in the north of Palmerston. In this role, you will be expected to give patients care and treatment and keep a record of their symptoms and concerns during the examination to identify any medical issues. You may be requested to assist the doctors if required with severe wounds and diseases. Our ideal applicant is a strong communicator who can work in a busy practice and has great time management skills.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Completed a Nursing Council accredited master’s degree program (or equivalent)
- Must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand in the registered nurse scope of practice
- Must pass an assessment against the Nurse Practitioner competencies given by a Council-approved assessor.
- Must possess strong communication skills and great leadership skills

**The Medical Practice**

Our client’s well-established facility is located in the in an area with a strong community and excellent public services 4 km in the North of Palmerston. The team works in a great public health unit that strives to safeguard the health, promote prevention of diseases for the wellbeing of the people in the surrounding areas. The facility operates on weekdays from 08.30 am to 04.30 pm.
