Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Join the Office of the Director, Commissioning as Senior Advisor and contribute to transforming the future of health. As Senior Advisor you will lead the effective implementation of key pieces of work in a collaborative way across Commissioning, working with colleagues from your group and across Te Whatu Ora.
You will be key to ensuring the Office of the Director runs smoothly and delivers a high-quality work programme. Day-to-day you will be providing quality advice to leaders, coordinating projects, building effective relationships and enhancing the capability of the team through your guidance and thought leadership.
This role will see you working on priority projects for the Comissioning Group, which will initially involve being a key support to the Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections programme.
This is permanent full-time role based in Wellington

You are a Senior Advisor looking for your next opportunity, or an Advisor with a number of roles under your belt who is looking to make the step up to Senior. The idea of working within the Commissioning group appeals to you, and you enjoy contributing your skills to a range of projects and programmes.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

**You will have**:

- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
- Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment whilst also demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgement
- Strong relationship management skills and experience in engaging with a range of sector groups and agencies
- A relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification, and working knowledge of health and/or social sectors
- Proven ability to write and talk about complex issues clearly and concisely to a range of audiences
