- **Secondment role**

We have an exciting opportunity within our Quality Manufacturing team to step up in your career and start developing new skills, while reporting directly to the Manufacturing Plant Quality Manager.

This opportunity is a Secondment role as a Team Leader role on our Afternoon shift.

The role entails managing, supporting, and training team members so that the production unit can operate smoothly and effectively to meet both organizational and product group objectives.

To achieve this, a successful Team Leader must display the following characteristics:

- Positive attitude - to foster team morale and help build rapport.
- Ethical approach - act with fairness and integrity when making decisions.
- Leadership and Team Building Skills - to build strong working relationships.
- A competent understanding of good Manufacturing & Documentation practices (GMP’s and GDP’s), Lean Manufacturing general knowledge, basic stats and mathematical skills, and Quality Tools knowledge
- Excellent communications skills - as you will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels within the organization (e.g. Team Members, Team Leaders, Managers)
- Delegation skills - rely on your Team member's technical skills more than your own to get work completed. Knowing when and what to delegate and to whom.
- Management of effective implementation of sampling, inspection, quality assessment and reporting in accordance with approved written procedure and specifications

Role requirements:

- Proactive, ethical, self-motivated and positive attitude.
- Strong Leadership and Team Building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge in Problem Solving tools (Fishbone, Brainstorming, chart and graphs, Pareto, 5 Whys, etc)
- Understand and use quality tools to perform continuous improvement activities
- General understand of Lean Tools
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Knowledge of Quality Management System
- Knowledge of Risk Management
- Training and Coaching Skills
- Previous Quality Control experience desired (not mandatory)
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferred (not mandatory)
