**Mō te tūnga | About the role**
The Acute Assessment and Stabilisation services Team are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Associate Clinical Nurse Manager (ACNM). You will support the Charge Nurse Manager (CNM) with managing a large team of permanent and casual Registered & Enrolled Nurses and a team of health care Assistants. Provide leadership, be a clinical resource for the nursing staff and encourage quality improvement activities as necessary.
This is a unique role within healthcare in NZ where you will be able to extend your practice not only in an acute hospital setting as well as working within inpatient care, but you will also have the flexibility to expand further.
You will assist with important processes in this service by supporting the CNM with recruitment, orientation, coordinating education, performance reviews, service development and staff retention.

**Ko wai koe | About You**
We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in acute and urgent care nursing and who has an interest in developing their leadership and management skills. Strategic thinking, problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills are imperative as you will interact with a wide range of people both within the team and the Department of Nursing, and across the facility.

- Initiative, solution focused with excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks.
- Motivated and flexible self-starter with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the proven ability to engage people at all levels.
- You will either hold or be working towards a relevant post graduate qualification.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC with proven clinical expertise within acute nursing.
- Some experience in leadership or Management is desired.
