About the opportunity
As HR Data Analyst you will be passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that support our managers in making decisions about their teams. With a continuous improvement framing, your work will extend to include compiling a range of cyclic reports, metrics, and insights, as well as the maintenance of organisation charts, and the accurate reporting on workforce insights that support our HR Business Partners. You will play an important role in maintaining critical employee information, updating key systems, and advising on data inaccuracies.
About you
Operating with a common-sense approach and sound judgement, you will be analytical with a curious mindset, and have strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn. Adept at prioritisation and managing expectations, you will have excellent time management skills. Your CV and cover letter will demonstrate:
- Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis producing enterprise reporting and insights.
- Experience/understanding the importance of human resources data in organisation decision making.
- Customer focus, including how to present information in a way that is appropriate to the audience.
- Experience dealing with confidential information.
- Well-developed and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Whilst not essential, experience with the following would be ideal:
- Application of data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Payroll systems, including running reports and extracting data.
Why you should join us
Aotearoa is powered by the people who work here. Every home, every marae, every electric vehicle, every hospital relies on the electricity we manage and deliver. This is your opportunity to join us on a mission that affects all New Zealanders, every day and long into the future.
