My client is seeking an experienced Qualified Drain Layer to manage crews and complete various projects across Central Otago. If you’re looking for a change of pace or location, this is the perfect opportunity to continue growth in your career. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Excavating trenches and laying pipes according to project requirements,
- Operating heavy machinery including excavators, rollers and loaders
- Communicating with Managers and construction teams to meet targets (Daily, weekly and key milestones)
- A 2-5 years of New Zealand based experience in civil and residential and stormwater systems,
- A certified drainlayer ticket or be enrolled in an appropriate course,
- Hold a current Site Safe Passport,
- Ideally have W, T, and R endorsements,
- Hold a clean full class 1 or 2 NZ Driver’s License,
- Have good written and verbal communication skill,
- Able to pass all pre-employment checks.

**Salary: $30pr/h - $38pr/h**
