**This very successful company manufacturing 700 to 1200 fuel pumps a year, electronics for other high-tech businesses in New Zealand and internationally, and is looking at options in hydrogen energy.**

They are currently on the hunt for a Quality Manager to join their team based in Marton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced, design and manufacturing space, that will enjoy ensuring the highest quality management systems remain current to the business and market.

This role will see you working In conjunction with the Product Design Team ensure that all products designed and manufactured by PEC comply with specifications, standards, and legislation, and manufacture and customer service. Ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) meets the requirements to achieve and retain certification to latest version of ISO 9001 and that appropriate quality measurement systems are in place to report on the effectiveness.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Engineering Degree or Equivalent in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline

**Experience Required**:

- 5+ years’ experience with management of product quality in the manufacturing space.
- Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Design
- Management and Compliance of Quality Management Systems (QMS)

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required**:

- Implementation of QMS
- Training team members on the creation, use and compliance with Policy and Procedures
- Management of external audits
- Management and completion of internal audits
- Quality system Reporting
