Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution, which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates, across a range of disciplines.

We have an exciting position available for a skilled individual to develop and implement a range of summative and formative evaluations for various projects, using kaupapa Māori evaluation frameworks and tools to evaluate and analyse each project's processes and outcomes.

To successfully undertake this role you will have:

- Qualification and/or experience in evaluation or relevant field e.g. education, health, public policy, community development We offer a supportive working environment.
- Experience designing and/or facilitating stakeholder meetings, interviews, workshops or surveys.
- Experience writing progress reports and updates for projects.
- Experience in data collection, coding and disseminating results.
- Can demonstrate kaupapa Māori evaluation practice.
- Strong observational, analytical and critical thinking skills to be able to review trends, information, and outcomes and deduce reasons for the results and consider alternative possibilities.
- Strong ability to understand the context of a program and how it affects program planning, implementation, outcomes, and evaluation.
- Willingness and ability to work autonomously and to complement and contribute to the work and outcomes of Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi.
- Proven skills in effective communication and demonstrated ability to prepare reports and summaries.
- Commitment and skills to promote gender and cultural equity in education.
- An ability to show manaaki and Aroha with various Kaupapa partners across projects.
