We are looking for someone with a can
- do attitude, loves being on the open road, and has at least 24 months Class 5 Linehaul Driving experience, operating Heavy Vehicle's on New Zealand roads.

This is a Wellington based role that operates through to Auckland or as required.

As a Truck Driver at Big Chill Distribution, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a Class 5 truck to transport goods efficiently and safely over long distances.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Manage documentation and logbooks accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Handle goods with care and ensure they are properly secured.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in linehaul or long-haul truck driving.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to work independently and handle long hours.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle manual labor, including loading and unloading goods.
