As Senior Supervisor you will be working closely with the Project Manager towards delivering projects through the management of direct labour and subcontractors in a positive and safe work environment.

Delivering key pieces of civil infrastructure, you’ll bring your years of civil construction experience and New Zealand industry knowledge to help deliver the work, lead and mentor teams and make an impact on the local communities.

**Responsibilities and Duties will include**:

- Overseeing work, analysing construction methods and ensuring efficient production
- Assessing activities, ensuring a good balance between cost and production to meet objectives and time scope
- Understanding contractual obligations with the client and subcontractors
- Analysing tasks and selecting appropriate resources in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Coordinating subcontractor tasks, ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards
- Monitoring crews and subcontractors’ performance to ensure project plans and milestones are met

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- At least 5 years in a civil construction supervisory/foreman role
- The current right to work in New Zealand
- Excellent communication skills - open, honest and direct
- A professional outlook and a disciplined approach to work
- A positive and proactive attitude towards safety and compliance
- Ability to lead by example and engage your team effectively

You will work with professional PMs and teams of Engineers who are keen to utilise your extensive construction experience and input on methodology.

A highly attractive salary package is on offer, including a generous base salary, Kiwisaver, full personal use vehicle and numerous employee benefits. Relocation assistance will be provided if you are moving from another region along with temporary accommodation to assist you getting established.
