**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

We are seeking a junior level subdivision specialists to join our dynamic and enthusiastic specialist team within the Resource Consents department at Auckland Council, the largest local government organisation in New Zealand. Our teams boast a high-level of technical expertise, while embracing innovation, a strong customer focus and providing opportunities for personal development and professional career growth

You will develop a clear understanding of the subdivision consent process through the Resource Management Act 1991 and how this relates to the issue of land titles in New Zealand. In this regards you will provide technical advice and certifications related to subdivision consents and activities across Tāmaki Makaurau with a primary focus on s223 survey plan approvals and s224(c) RMA completion documents.

As a junior team member, you will also develop a clear understanding of risk, learn how to provide consistent and proportional decision making, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
- Experienced in the subdivision and land title field
- Hold a tertiary qualification in surveying, planning or similar
- Experienced as a coach and mentor
- Focussed on building capacity within the team
- Customer centric focus
- Ability to develop and maintain quality relationships with multiple stakeholders

**Salary range will be $83,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience)
