**About the Role**:
Flexi-Permanent - Full Time** FLEXI - SUPPORT WORKERS**

This permanent position is for our RIDSAS Services, where we require a Support Worker who will cover other support workers across all our RIDSAS Services for leave and training. If you are flexible around the days you can work, this flexi-role might be what you’re looking for.

RIDSAS is contracted to provide rehabilitation services to people with high and complex needs who have had contact with the judicial system.

Our person-centred approach utilises your exceptional communication skills and empathy to understand and support individuals with challenging behaviour on their journey towards personal growth and self-improvement.

Our Support Workers are resilient, patient and non-judgemental with an understanding of Trauma Informed Care. We see challenging behaviour as communication and respond with empathy and patience.

Our rate of pay for this position is $29.10 per hour.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Hold a full current New Zealand driver’s license.
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
- Willingness to undergo vetting as part of the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
