As well as emergency paramedic care, we provide patient transfer services; have paramedics who are part of the Life Flight crew and rescue squad, plus operate the 111 clinical communications centre for our region. The role

Join our team in exciting role of Fleet Driver, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring our vehicles are where they need to be, exactly when they’re needed. This is a dynamic and vital position that requires a proactive and detail-oriented induvial like you

As a Fleet Driver you will be responsible for assisting with Certificate of Fitness inspections, collecting parts and efficiently delivering vehicles to supplies for necessary repairs and recalls. Your role will be pivotal in keeping our fleet in optimal condition and ensuring a seamless operational flow.

**Specifically, you role will include**:
Driving vehicles to externals suppliers for repairs and COF checks, ensure our vehicles meet the highest safety standards
Moving Vehicles to different stations, contributing to the smooth function of our operations
Providing valuable assistance with workshop and station tasks
Undertaking occasional transportation of vehicles from outside the Wellington region

Your flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile will be highly valued as you may be required to work additional hours on occasion to meet the operational demands of our service.

Who we are looking for

To succeed in this role you must hold a clean and current Class One Driver’s Licence. Your experience in mechanical service and repair environments will be highly valued as you contribute to keeping our fleet in top-notch condition.
