**About the role**
We are now recruiting for a Resource Management Lawyer. This role is based in our Ōtepoti Dunedin office.

Our collaborative firm structure offers the combined benefits of a respected national firm with breadth of expertise and a depth of resources, with a leading local boutique specialising in select practice areas, operating as a lean and connected team.

We work on a wide range of Resource Management and Local Government matters. This work is for a range of territorial authorities and private clients. Examples of our work include preparing a wide variety of cases for hearings at Council level, the Environment Court and appeal Courts. This involves scoping evidence, working with a range of experts to produce evidence, and to prepare and present legal submissions. Our work also involves resolving a range of legal issues that arise across the breadth of local government work in the sector.

**What you will bring**

To be successful you will have 3 - 6 years' years of practical experience in legal practice, preferably with a focus on resource management or local government work, or both.

You will have exceptional levels of self-awareness and interpersonal skills and have a proven ability to build strong, influential relationships based on trust. You will be highly responsive, organised and able to manage a wide variety of tasks.
