Over the years Barmuda has played host to numerous international, national and local DJs and been mentioned in global magazines and other media. Our newly installed sound system is unparalleled in Queenstown and with one of the few outdoor spaces in the CBD there really is nowhere else quite like it. Whilst the lounge and main bar offer an incredible intimate space for a cocktail or delicious local wine, it’s when the sun goes down that Barmuda really comes alive. Our resident DJs play until 4am Thursday to Saturday with guest events throughout the month and our summer courtyard parties are known worldwide as the highlight of Queenstown’s summer.

We are seeking a capable, charismatic and talented hospitality professional to take on a challenging and rewarding role as Manager of Barmuda Bar, located in the heart of Queenstown.

To be successful in this role, you will be a dedicated, motivated and experienced bar manager with an “anything it takes” approach to your work.

**Key Attributes**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience at a management level
- Current NZ Manager’s Certificate
- Be a natural when it comes to creating a party atmosphere while adhering to all compliance requirements.
- Leadership skils to motivate, train and recruit a great team
- Amazing customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of Food Act 2014 / Food Control Plan
- Good computer skills; Microsoft Office, POS Systems
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understanding of marketing channels and strategies
- Solid financial understanding; GP, Costings, P&L
- Proactive and forward thinking approach to problem solving
- Self-motivated and able to think outside the box
- Excellent knowledge on drinks, cocktails, bar operating standards
