**Trades Assistant**:

We are looking for a **Trades Assistant** who is looking to **kickstart their career**.

Reporting to the Unit Leader and based on the _Devonport Naval Base_, this position will be key to the ongoing success of the workshop. Working closely with the existing team, you will be given exposure to a huge range of exciting environments and could be the stepping stone to becoming trade qualified

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Hot Work & Fire Sentry
- Confined Space Sentry
- Working at Height Sentry
- Basic Grinding & Welding Skills
- Gas Testing of Confined spaces and compartments

**About you**
- You will have the desire to work hard and learn along the way.
- Able to think on your feet
- Ability to work under pressure as part of a team or individually
