Resort Manager

Silver River Resort Ltd is looking for a new Resort Manager to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for the operation of our Luxury Airbnb Isolation Bay located in Lake Tekapo. Boasting 16 beds with uninterrupted private views and access of Lake Tekapo Isolation Bay attracts a high value clientele looking for multi night stays in one of New Zealand’s most popular tourism hotspots.

Based in Lake Tekapo.

Full time 40 hour salary $62,000 - $70,000 based on previous experience.

Your duties will be:

- Respond to all reservation enquiries.
- Organise bookings and keep track of guest payments.
- Support guests in event planning and push the sale of additional experiences that our resort offers.
- Organise and assist with housekeeping duties.
- Ensure that the property and gardens are well maintained and tidy.
- Work with the resorts activities team to push the sale of our experiences.
- Check-in guests when they arrive in Lake Tekapo.
- Assist the resort’s activities team when necessary.
- Manage our housekeeping team and create weekly rosters.
- Organise and manage the resort's growing lsit of properties.

You must have the following skills and experience:

- A minimum of three years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
- Management experience in a similar setting.
- Experience in leading a team.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Good knowledge of computer systems including Word, Excel, and Xero.
- An excellent level of both spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A full driver’s license.
