A Judges Clerk plays a vital role in the District Court by providing high quality research and support to District Court Judges and judicial officers.
This position is for 2 years fixed term and is located within the Rotorua District Court. The main responsibility of the Judges Clerk role is to provide timely support to Judges by undertaking research, keeping up to date with legislation changes, responding to Judges' inquiries.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Have an LLB with strong academic record
- Have excellent written communication skills
- Have solid computer literacy and research skills
- Understand and consider the practicalities of outcomes as well as their legality
- Enjoy working independently towards deadlines, and able to manage your workload while maintaining confidentiality.

Pay band salary steps - 6 months starting at $65,845 to $79,743.
