**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**:
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Lead and execute testing activities within agreed timeframes
- Liaise with Development and Operations teams, and the wider Directorate, to ensure test requirements are understood and met
- Raise defects and issues, including logging, retesting, and updating all faults
- Write test charters for smaller projects, to plan and estimate test effort and efficiency
- Demonstrate your strong learning agility, and ability to adapt and adjust to different methods, choices, working styles, and tools

Mōu - About You
You'll need a strong learning agility as well as the ability to work closely, and develop relationships with, a wide range of people both within the team and across the wider MPI business.

**In addition to the above, we are seeking an applicant with**:

- Previous testing experience across a range of different project sizes, scopes and complexities
- Familiarity with requirement analysis, test design, test execution, defect tracking and reporting
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the drive to produce high quality outcomes
- Ability and confidence to operate as a sole tester, if required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and good attention to detail

This position is part of a newly established Systems Assurance team within MPI's Business Technology and Information Services (BTIS) directorate. BTIS's role is to help MPI's business units to deliver quality services to their sectors and stakeholders with the appropriate use of digital technology.
