We have an opportunity within the Supply Chain Strategy and Development team as a Purchasing Specialist. This is an exciting role that helps deliver our supply chain and customer driven strategy.

**What you’re responsible for**
- Drive innovation by streamlining and refining purchasing and forecasting processes.
- Take the lead in directing the SAP FSNI Deployment Team, orchestrating seamless integration of purchasing and forecasting processes for maximum impact.
- Deliver strategic and operational objectives that align with the Purchasing Business Process Owner (BPO) roadmap.
- Relentless focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness, to increase automation and reduce friction within transactions.
- Embrace a culture of innovation by challenging norms, inspiring creative problem-solving approaches, and fostering an environment that thrives on continuous improvement.
- Contribute to an environment that encourages cross-functional collaboration within Supply Chain, across FSNI support functions and FSNI membership.

**What skills and experience you need**
- Proven FMCG experience and ideally 5+ years in a hands-on purchasing, inventory or supply chain management roles.
- Business Analyst experience in a Microsoft, SAP Retail or Retalix environment is desirable.
- A highly analytical mindset in relation to forecasting methodology including business analysis, trend identification and potential problem identification.
- Strong project and commercial discipline and an understanding of IT delivery methodology
- Experience in, or demonstrates an interest in process diagnosis, improvement and automation.
- Quickly able to form relationships and balance a wide variety of priorities.
- Working knowledge of SAP and other ERP and supply chain systems including WMS, TMS and planning tools would be desirable.
