We are looking for a professional, high-energy Bar Staff member with excellent communication skills to serve our customers classic cocktails and exciting new beverages.

Working as a bar staff you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.

**Responsibilities will include-**
- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Checking customers identification and age verification
- Engaging with customers and advising them about current promotions
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Developing new cocktail recipes.

**Minimum Hours**:35 Hours/per week guranteed
- Should hold LCQ.
- Minimum 3 months of work experience in a similar role/industry is highly preferrable.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
