The Opportunity

Due to current and forward workload, we are looking to recruit an Acoustic Engineer to join our successful Consulting and Technology practice.

As part of a multi-disciplinary organisation, this role will not only offer you the opportunity to work alongside our fantastic team of acoustic specialists, both locally and across ANZ on standalone acoustics projects, but will also enable you to collaborate with the wider AECOM network, including Mechanical, Environmental and Transportation disciplines, giving you a broad exposure to a multitude of world-class projects.

This role is "hands on" delivering buildings and environmental noise projects to a long list of great clients in the public and private sectors. Whilst the role is based in Auckland, we work closely with our teams throughout NZ and Australia.

About You

This role will suit a professional with demonstrated experience in acoustic projects and meeting delivery requirements. It is essential to have strong oral and written communication skills alongside a strong sense of commitment, an eagerness to work and grow in a dynamic team environment.

+ 2+ years’ relevant professional experience

+ Tertiary Qualification (Bachelor of Engineering or Science)

+ Experience working within a consulting environment

+ Experience in acoustic engineering components of projects

+ Knowledge of noise modelling software such as Soundplan, Cadnaa and Insul

Salary range for this role is $70 - 85k p.a. + benefits. Flexible working pattern including start/finish times and working from home. Ideally, we are looking for someone full-time (40 hours per week) but we are open to part-time (30 hours per week) to support and encourage work/life balance.
