**CT Medical Imaging Technologist Taupo/ Rotorua**
- Radiology at Taupo Hospital is recruiting a Permanent CT Medical Imaging Technologist. This is a Monday to Friday service, working on a Canon Prime SP CT scanner. The CT service is supported by two Medical Imaging Technologists, a Registered Nurse and Administration support based within the small Radiology Department at Taupo Hospital.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CT MIT to work a shared 1.0 FTE role across both the Rotorua & Taupo sites with the primary site being Taupo. There will be opportunity to work in general X-ray in Taupo Hospital. Your role will also include, teaching, ensuring image quality and supporting MIT’s that rotate through from Rotorua Hospital.
Taupo Hospital & Radiology Department is a small friendly environment dedicated to providing excellent patient care and a quality general x-ray and CT service. Rotorua Hospital Radiology Department provides the next level of care for Taupo patients having General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT and MRI. The Rotorua CT service offers inpatient, outpatient and Emergency CT imaging inclusive of oncology, CT Colonography, vascular, neuro perfusion and coronary angiogram studies along with a 24 hour on call acute service.
Remuneration as per the Apex MIT MECA $70,842 - $103,000
Lakes District Health Board serves a population of just over 100,000. Rotorua Radiology department, is located in the heart of the North Island’s adventure region with endless outdoor activities such as; world class mountain biking, white water rafting and kayaking, tramping and within an easy drive to the Bay of Plenty beaches and Taupo has fantastic great lake bike trails, mountain biking, water spot activities and skiing on Mt Ruapehu
