Kitchen Helper

Our client based in North Island **Shukrana Limited Trading as The Good Spot Eatery** is currently looking for individuals to join our team as a **Kitchen Helper**.

Minimum 30+ hours/week

**Responsibilities**:

- Help completing basic food preparation tasks
- Preparing salads and helping chefs and cook in other basic cooking activities Requirements.
- Clean and maintain high hygiene standards in kitchens, food preparation areas, and sculleries.
- Cleaning Kitchen and food preparation area,plates and other cooking utensils
- Storing raw food materials like flour, spices, vegetables etc. safely

**Job Requirements**:

- 1 year experience in a kitchen environment would be preferable.
- Strong organisational skills to assist in cook/chefs.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as a part of team.
- Good communication and understanding skills.
- A can do attitude to perform duties.
- Handling, sorting and distributing food items as directed by the head chef.
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary at all times.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Willing to work till 10AM to 10 PM

Availability during late night closing, Weekends, Public Holidays and during Christmas and New Years Break
