**He Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role**

The Paediatric service is seeking inspirational, experienced nurses with a passion for improving the health of tamariki and whānau. Tamariki ora nurses are specialist registered nurses who work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary paediatric team to deliver a service responsive to the need of our population. Each of these specialist roles will compliment the existing CNS team to ensure tamariki of Te Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty have access to specialist health services.

Key responsibilities include to lead and advance the delivery of Oncology education, care co-ordination. The role will involve inpatient advocacy and support, consultation with the Tertiary centre to determine treatment planning palliative care coordination, to people during admission and in nurse-led outpatient clinics across Tauranga and Whakatane Hospitals.

The role also encompasses a coordination of Biologics for a range of conditions.

The Tamariki Ora CNS team will show strength in engagement with whānau and a commitment to remove barriers to access.
