Our client is a dynamic New Zealand owned civil construction business with a 'customer number one' focus and a team of over 1200 staff. Their breadth of capabilities and resources means we can deliver a fully integrated complement of civil construction services and infrastructure products.

They are looking to recruit a Pavement Manager who wants to be part of a very successful organisation working on one of New Zealand's major roading projects in the Bay of Plenty. They require an experienced person with exposure and knowledge in motorway construction works including earthworks, drainage, pavement construction, retaining walls, foundations and bridges.

You will have a
**Bachelor in Civil Engineering** or equivalent with
**at least five years post graduate experience **that has seen you
**working on road construction projects**. You will be well versed with erosion and sediment control, compliance with noise and vibration restrictions, supervising and managing a workforce and sub-contractors and reporting and forecasting project costs.

Responsibilities will include
**providing specifications and documentation for pavement works, ensuring quality standards are adhered to and ensuring the works are completed to budget and time.** You will provide progress reporting and be able to plan and programme well without compromising on safety, quality and cost. You have an exceptional understanding of H&S policies.
