Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui, Hawke's Bay has an exciting opportunity for a Wairoa Health Centre Manager to lead our Wairoa Hospital & Health Centre.

This is a crucial role that directly contributes to the quality and success of our service delivery, specifically in the Wairoa area. The role provides operational and strategic leadership across the service and is supported by an established local team and wider multi-disciplinary teams and services.

Wairoa is a rural riverside town located just over 100km from Napier with our Hospital servicing the close-knit community of over 8,900 residents. The area boasts affordable housing, native rainforests and beautiful walkways with coastal views. Wairoa is a great place to settle down and enjoy an easy-going lifestyle. We are wanting a strong kaiarahi who is passionate about achieving equitable health outcomes for Wairoa whanau and committed to continuous improvement. We are looking for someone who has local knowledge of the area and understands the importance of respecting and upholding tikanga.

**You will bring**:
Community, whanau and patient-focused approach
A significant number of years in a management role, preferably within the health sector
Experience in leading and managing a team
Change management experience, in light of potential localities development
Quality management experience
